Welcome to the start of our newly designed website. A couple of thanks here, firstly to Ken for working hard behind the scenes to get the site back up and running, and to Richard Blanchett for "volunteering" to become our information officer and to help develop the content of the site for the coming season.  I know that both Ken and Richard are keen to get the site fully up and running and have some ideas on taking this forward, so watch this space.

After the progress that we made last season, I am really looking forward to us moving forward again this season, and the signs are encouraging.  For the first time in many seasons, captains of all sides were appointed at the AGM, and they are already working hard behind the scenes to ensure we are well prepared for the start of the season.

Training has already started, and will take place every Wednesday at the club from 8 - 9:30.  It is no coincidence that our improved form last season coincided with improved attendance at training and a full season of training sessions.  As a club we have committed to this again, so lets ensure we make the most of this right from the start.  Remember, the difference between a bid for promotion and a relegation dogfight can be very much dependant on early season results, so let's make sure we don't let ourselves down here and ensure that we all are all physically and mentally ready for the season start in September.  Lets see players from all sides at training, so we can ensure we have the right players in the right sides, a great club spirit and a collective desire to do well - the more of us there, the more enjoyable and better it will be.  to supplement training we are arranging a number of pre-season friendlies at all levels.

Don't for get that subs are now also due.  We do have a number of pre-season payments to make, so please do ensure that you pay your subscriptions as soon as you can.

So with the Captains in place, training underway and friendlies just about to start, another season has commenced.  I really believe that we can achieve much this season, and hope that you do to.  So let's do what we can to collectively make this a season to remember, and bring some more silverware back to Beckenham.  Enjoy your season!
